At times in certain households, when we prostrate before their house Salagrama Perumal and pictures of Divya Desa Perumal, we also end up prostrating before the pictures of demi-gods if they are placed together. And we are placed in an awkward situation. What must we do to ensure we do not commit any offence? We are pushed into such situations at certain temples as well. Even if we avoid worshipping at the sanctum of a demi-god, when we circumambulate, we end up circumambulating the demi-gods. We find ourselves in this situation since we do not live at a Divya Desam, and we desire to worship Perumal at a temple. Kindly advise what we must do.
