Are there any women preceptors in our tradition?

There is no proof that women had held the position of preceptors in our tradition.
Adiyen performs Tiruvaradhanam every day at home which my wife recites along during Arulicceyal; is this acceptable?
Vidwan’s reply:
It is not inappropriate for the wife to recite Arulicceyal during Tiruvaradhanam, if the wife feels she does not want to recite before her husband, she can do so separately.
Can a woman who had lost her husband, re-join the classes to learn Sri Suktis of Azhwar, Acharya-s after the conclusion of Subham?
Vidwan’s reply:
Yes, they can certainly continue to learn, so that they may console themselves through learning the Sri Suktis Azhwars and Acharya-s.
For how many days should women both married and unmarried women (sumangali and kanya) wear the masi nonbu caradu?
Vidwan’s reply:
Both kanya and sumangali women must wear the masi nonbu caradu during the whole month of Panguni; if possible, they can continue to wear the caradu.
