It is generally not a practice for women to wear glass bangles in our tradition. It is done during the fifth or seventh month of a woman’s first pregnancy, which is part of our tradition. As a result, the lady must continue to wear the glass bangles until the child is born. During this time, if they happen to prostrate before Acharyan or elders, they are allowed to wear glass bangles. Young unmarried girls are allowed to wear glass bangles. It is not a practice for married women to wear glass bangles except for the ritual ceremony during pregnancy.
