Can my mother and I partake in the Pitru Sesham during the Una Masikam and Shraddham ceremonies performed for my younger brother?

This depends on each individual’s mindset. Some are of the opinion that since our ancestors are also included (in the offering), one can eat it. Others represent the opinion that one should not eat it because they (the performer/deceased) are younger. Since there are two differing opinions, it is not considered wrong if you do not eat the Pitru Sesham of a younger brother. It is also not wrong if you do eat it.
