As practice for performing Sandhyavandanam after the Upanayanam, which parts of the Sandhyavandanam can we teach to children who have not yet undergone the Upanayanam? 

It is appropriate to teach Sandhyavandanam only after the Upanayanam is performed. Since the mantras cannot be taught before that, it is best to teach it after the ceremony.
