In the Kaisika Mahatmyam, it is stated that eating without bathing on Shashti, Ashtami, Amavasya, and Chaturdashi days is a sin. Can Sri Vaishnavas observe the Shashti Vratam? Is the Aippasi Shukla Paksha Shashti a special day for Sri Vaishnavas?

It is not the custom for Sri Vaishnavas to observe the Shashti Vratam. The Shashti of the Aippasi Shukla Paksha (waxing phase) is observed as Skanda Shashti by followers of other traditions; it does not exist in the Sri Vaishnava tradition.
