On the upcoming March 3rd lunar eclipse day, there are only 15 minutes from the time of moonrise until the end of the eclipse period (moksha kalam). Since the time available for taking a bath and applying the Dvadasha Urdhva Pundram (12 sacred marks) is very short, here are some doubts: 1.Do we need to perform Grahana Kala Tharpanam (eclipse period oblations)? 2.Within the Grahana Punyakalam (auspicious eclipse period), if we cannot finish the Sankalpam (vow) for Grahana Kala Tharpanam, is it okay?

1.Grahana Kala Tharpanam must be performed.
2.One must finish the bath, etc., before sunset and perform the Grahana Kala Tharpanam within the available 15 minutes.
