Due to economic hardship, my family deviated slightly from Sampradayam (tradition) in the last generation. My own Upanayanam (sacred thread ceremony) was also delayed accordingly. Now, I have received a Salagrama through a traveller from Nepal. However, I have not had Vedadhyayanam (Vedic studies), and do not fully know the Prabandham. Currently, I perform Tiruvaradhanam (worship) only by reciting ‘Neerattram’ and ‘Dvayam’. I hear that food offerings (Amudhu) should be made twice during the month of Margazhi. What is the proper method for those who have not had Vedadhyayanam to perform Tiruvaradhanam? How can I learn Sampradayam more deeply?

If one has not had Vedadhyayanam (Vedic studies), one should learn the method of Tiruvaradhanam (worship) by attending daily rites study (Aahnika Kalakshepam) from an elder.
