Garbhaadhaana Samskara is what is commonly referred to as Shanthi Muhurtham. It is a ritual performed with specific mantras to ensure the growth of the family and the arrival of the next generation. It is called Garbhaadhaana because it refers to the act of “placing the seed” or conceiving. Our elders have specifically prescribed this for the well-being, prosperity, and overall auspiciousness of the family.
