A.Adiyen and Adiyen’s family belong to the Vadakalai tradition. Though we do not strictly adhere to the orthodox practices of the sampradayam, we have immense devotion towards Emperuman. We will also grandly celebrate the festivals. But no one including Adiyen’s husband have not undergone panchasamskaram. Adiyen attracted by GSPK’s sampradaya discourses, underwent panchasamskaram when Chinna Jeeyar came to USA. Doing so itself gave me the joy of having done prapatti. Do not know when I will visit India next. Also, I do not know when my husband will undergo panchasamskaram and bharanyasam. Must I perform bharanyasam? Will I be offending or disrespectful towards Chinna Jeeyar if I do so? B.We have 2 Salagrama murthis at our house. We both do maanasa Tiruvaradhanam and offer flowers and other offerings. Both the murthis are in separate boxes individually. Adiyen will recite Desikan Srisukthi-s. But Tiruvaradhanam is not performed in a prescribed manner. We can only do such services. Given this, can Salagrama Perumal be present in our house? Is there any doshas due to this? C.It is not yet one year since my father-in-law attained Paramapadam. Under such circumstances, can we worship the Perumal at our house?
