Doubt Munitraya sampradayam: It is a practice to fast the entire day on days such as Sri Jayanthi, Sri Rama Navami, Sri Nrisimha Jayanthi, etc., and do paranai the following day. Does that mean the offerings prepared on such days must not be partaken on those respective days? Is it appropriate to refuse to partake the offerings made to Emperuman? Moreover, these offerings cannot be retained for the next day.

On the upavasa days, the offerings made for Emperuman must not be partaken by those who fast; instead they can be partaken by those who take phala haram. Since one practices fasting, there is no harm in not partaking the offerings.
