I belong to the Sama Veda tradition. We are currently learning the Rudram and Chamakam. Since I have undergone Bharanyasam, can I learn Rudram and Chamakam? Furthermore, can I learn other parts of the Vedas? What is the importance for Sri Vaishnavas to know these, and what mindset should we maintain while learning them?

One can learn the Rudram and Chamakam. It is sufficient to maintain the general thought that Perumal exists as the Inner Dweller (Antaryami) of Lord Shiva.

The significance for Sri Vaishnavas in knowing these lies is simply in the fact that they are portions of Vedic mantras.
