What is the Prayaschitham (atonement/remedy) to be performed by a Sri Vaishnava couple who have undergone an abortion? 

I do not know if there is a specific atonement for this. Generally, there has been a custom among some elders to perform Prayaschitha Prapatti for all sins. You may do that if you wish.
